Pacers free agent point guard T.J. McConnell is open to a return but is seekig a multiyear contract, per J. Michael of the Indianapolis Star.
Meanwhile, small forward Doug McDermott is also not opposed to re-signing, but per Michael, could prove to be too expensive.
McConnell, 29, is 6-foot-1 and averaged 8.6 points and 6.6 assists in 69 games last season. He recetly told reporters he would be plenty happy with a return to Indiana.
“I would love to be back here,” McConnell said. “I absolutely love it here. … I don’t have a bad thing to say about anything or anyone.”
McDermott, 29, is 6-7 and coming off a solid season, averaging career-highs in points (13.3) and rebounds (3.3), while shooting a career-best 53 percent from the field in 66 games.
