The Bucks have been looking to add some veteran depth, and that includes a pursuit of Rockets guard Eric Gordon, according to Marc Stein of The Stein Line.
Among the Bucks’ pitches in offers — four second-round picks, Stein reported. But as he added and has been written elsewhere, the Rockets appear to be holding out for a first-round pick for Gordon.
In fact, some have even theorized that the Rockets may hang onto Gordon altogether, in the event 76ers guard James Harden decides to return in free agency. If so, it would be an odd plan — but this is the NBA, and stranger things have happened.
As for the Bucks, they have also been linked to the likes of Knicks forward Cam Reddish, as well as Suns forward Jae Crowder. They are said to be dangling shooting guard Grayson Allen as part of trade packages.
Sources told Hoops Wire the Bucks may also have an interest in Wizards forward Rui Hachimura, believed to be available, as we relayed here.
