The Mavericks and shooting guard Tim Hardaway Jr. have agreed to a four-year deal worth $74 million, agent Mark Bartelstein told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Hardaway, 29, averaged 16.6 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists last season while shooting 39 percet from the floor.
He signed a four-year deal with the Knicks in 2017 that was worth $71 million, but that contract expired following the Mavs’ playoff run.
He said then that he was hoping to return to Dallas, which is about to embark on its first year with Jason Kidd as the head coach.
“If you were to talk to anybody in this organization and anybody that’s around me, they will definitely say that I love it here,” Hardaway said at the time.
