The Cavaliers have informed small forward Caris LeVert that he will not be traded ahead of Thursday’s deadline, per Matt Moore of Action Network.
LeVert has been the subject of multiple rumors, perhaps leading the Cavs to let him know where he stands just hours ahead of the 3 p.m. EST cutoff.
Cleveland also had been seeking deals involving guard/forward Cedi Osman, though it appeared nothing was imminent there either, with time running out, sources told Hoops Wire.
While the Cavs have taken calls on power forward Kevin Love, there have received no offers that were considered worth moving on taking on the extra salary. Love is considered a candidate to reach agreement on a contract buyout, sources said. For the record, Moore wrote that he is hearing the same on Love.
We will have more coverage both before and after the deadline, o be sure to follow along here,as well as on our Cavs page.
