Former Cavaliers power forward Kevin Love will sign with the Heat upon clearing waivers, agent Jeff Schwartz told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Love, 34, was officially waived by the Cavs on Saturday after agreeing to a contract buyout.
He spent nine years with the Cavs and was the last remaining member of the 2016 NBA title team.
This season, however, he has struggled to the tune of career-lows of 8.5 points and 6.8 rebounds in 41 games. He was benched for the final 12 games of his Cavs career and requested a buyout.

Love announced his intentions to sign with the Heat in a tweet response to former Cavs teammate Tristan Thompson, another member of the 2016 title team.
Love also drew interest from the Suns, Lakers and 76ers, among a few others.
Along with Love, the Heat are expected to sign free agent center Cody Zeller, as we relayed here.
