The Bulls have waived guard Goran Dragic, the team announced in a press release.
While Dragic won’t be with the Bulls, he remains playoff-eligible for another team, given that he was cut ahead of the March 1 deadline to do so.
Dragic, 36, has appeared in 51 games this season, averaging 6.4 points and 2.7 assists, shooting 43 percent from the field and 35 percent on 3-pointers.
The Bulls recently signed guard Patrick Beverley, a move that has proven to cut into Dragic’s opportunities.
Dragic has also spent time with the Nets, Heat, Raptors, Rockets and Suns since entering the NBA in 2008.
Thank you & best of luck, @Goran_Dragic! pic.twitter.com/jiqgrPqFAM
