The Jazz are signing power forward Luka Samanic to a 10-day contract, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Samanic, 23, is 6-foot-10 and appeared in 36 games for the Spurs last season, as well as three with San Antonio as a rookie the year before that as a rookie.
He entered free agency after the season, signed with the Celtics for training camp, and was waived. That resulted in him playing for the Maine Celtics of the G League, where he has averaged 22.0 points and 8.1 rebounds in 27 games.
The Jazz could still have an available roster spot, depending on whether they decide to re-sign power forward Jarrell Brantley following the expiration of his 10-day contract on Tuesday.
