The Bulls have agreed to a contract with free agent forward Stanley Johnson, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Johnson, 25, appeared in 61 games with the Raptors last season, averaging 4.4 points and 2.5 rebounds and making a name for himself with defense. He was originally drafted by the Pistons with the No. 8 overall pick in 2015.
In recent weeks, he had been working out with Nets players and members of the team’s coaching staff in Los Angeles, per Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.
It is yet to be determined what type of offer Johnson received from the Bulls, though this late in the offseason it is likely to be a smaller deal with only one season guaranteed.
They currently have 13 players on guaranteed deals for next season, so there is clearly room for more with training camp just several weeks away.
