The Bucks have officially signed rookie guard/forward Chris Livingston, the team announced in a press release.
Livingston is 6-foot-6 and was the final pick of the 2023 NBA Draft (No. 58 overall). Per Shams Charania of The Athletic, he received a four-year, $7.7 million contract, with the first two years guaranteed.
Clearly, Milwaukee is intrigued by his upside, as he’s been called the best player from Akron, Ohio, since LeBron James. Like James, Livingston is represented by Rich Paul of Klutch Sports.
Livingston appeared in 34 games with the Wildcats, averaging 6.3 points and 4.2 rebounds and making the SEC All-Freshmen team.
As Charania noted, the contract is the largest ever given to the final pick in the draft.
