The Bucks are signing center Marques Bolden to an Exhibit 10 contract for training camp, per Eric Nehm of The Athletic.
Bolden, 25, is 6-foot-10 and spent parts of the 2019 and 2020 season with the Cavaliers for his lone NBA experience. He has been mainly playing for the Salt Lake City Stars of the G League since.
As Nehm noted, Bolden also signed with the Bucks for camp last year, but was waived before the start of the season.
The same could happen this year, as Milwaukee has been busy filling out its roster for the Wisconsin Herd of the G League. They have already signed and waived both forward Alex Antetokounmpo (full post) and guard Iverson Molinar (full post), retaining their G League rights in the process.
Overall, Bolden has appeared in seven NBA games and 68 G League games, including 20 with the Stars last season, when he averaged 12.3 points and 9.2 rebounds.
An Exhibit 10 contract counts toward the offseason roster of 20 but not toward the regular-season roster unless the player is signed to a standard deal.
