Joel Embiid Assures 76ers He Will Ride Out James Harden Drama

While the 76ers decide what to do about James Harden and his trade demand, it appears Joel Embiid isn’t going anywhere — one way or the other.

Per Ramona Shelburne of ESPN, Embiid has given the Sixers assurances that he will wait it out when it comes to see what happens next with Harden.

So far, there has been no traction on a potential Harden trade, sources have told Hoops Wire. It is believed the Sixers aren’t even holding trade discussions. And training camp starts in less than a month.

Meanwhile, both Embiid and Sixers guard Tyrese Maxey have stayed in touch with Harden this offseason, per Shelburne.

So basically, despite all those rumors that the reigning MVP may want out due to all the Harden saga, Embiid does not seem to be anywhere near that yet.
