Free agent forward Kenneth Faried has signed with Russian club CSKA Moscow, the team announced in a press release.
Faried, 31, is 6-foot-8 and played for the Trail Blazers in the Las Vegas Summer League and recently worked out for the Lakers.
Along with that, he received some consideration from the Knicks at the end of last season, noted Hoops Rumors’ Luke Adams. “For now though, Faried’s professional career will continue outside the NBA,” Adams wrote.

He last played professionally in the Chinese Basketball Association during the 2019-20 season. His prior NBA experience came the season before that, when he appeared in a combined 37 games between the Nets and Rockets.
Faried spent the first seven seasons of his career with the Nuggets, when he was a starter and borderline All-Star.
That said, he hasn’t played in the NBA for a few seasons and there’s a reason he was unsigned after his last stint.
