The Spurs have signed guard Erik Stevenson and guard/forward Paul Watson, per the RealGM transactions log.
Both players likely received Exhibit 10 contracts for training camp, meaning they very well could soon be headed to the Austin Spurs of the G League.
Stevenson, 24, is 6-foot-4 and played for four different colleges in five years before going undrafted this past summer. Last year at West Virginia, he appeared in 34 games and averaged 15.4 points and 3.4 rebounds. He then played for the Spurs in the NBA Summer League.
Watson, 28, is 6-6 and went undrafted out of Fresno State in 2017. Since then, he has spent time with the Raptors (on two occasions), Hawks and Thunder, appearing in a total of 46 NBA games. He has also spent time in the G League and playing internationally.
An Exhibit 10 contract would make each player eligible for a $75,000 bonus should he remain with the Austin Spurs for at least 60 days.
