The Grizzlies have waived point guard Mychal Mulder and forward Matt Hurt, per the NBA transactions log.
Mulder, 29, is 6-foot-3 and has bounced around the NBA and G League, playing a career-high 60 games with the Warriors during the 2020-21 season. He then served stints with the Magic and Heat, before spending last season with the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the G League.
His rights were traded to the Memphis Hustle last month, and Sioux Falls is likely where he is headed next.
Hurt, 23, is 6-9 and went undrafted out of Duke in 2021. He first signed with the Rockets, spending time with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, before signing a two-way deal with the Grizzlies a year ago. Hurt then played for the Hustle.
Both Mulder and Hurt will be eligible for a $75,000 bonus should they play for the Hustle and remain there for at least 60 days.
