The Kings are sending the draft rights to forward/center Luka Mitrovic to the Clippers as part of the trade for center Filip Petrusev and cash, per Andrew Grief of the Los Angeles Times.
Mitrovic, 30, was selected by the 76ers with the 60th and final pick of the 2015 NBA Draft. His draft rights were traded to the Kings a few weeks later.
Mitrovic has spent his entire career in Europe, most recently with Serbian club Crvena zvezda, and at this point, it seems doubtful he’ll come over to NBA.
Petrusev, 23, was acquired as part of James Harden trade with the 76ers, along with forward received P.J. Tucker.
Petrusev has appeared in one game this season with Philadelphia. He played college basketball at Gonzaga and was the No. 50 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft.
