The Pelicans have officially signed forward Jeremiah Robinson-Earl to a two-way contract, per the RealGM transactions log.
Robinson-Earl, 22, is 6-foot-9 was waived by the Rockets before the start of the season after being acquired as part of the Kevin Porter Jr. trade with the Thunder.
He spent each of his first two seasons with the Thunder, averaging 6.8 points and 4.2 rebounds in 43 games last year, shooting 44 percent from the field.
Robinson-Earl was selected by the Knicks with the No. 32 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, then traded to the Thunder the following day. Before being waived, he was due to make $1.9 million this season, with a team option for $1.98 million in 2024-25.
He will now split his time between New Orleans and the Birmingham Squadron of the G League. Matt Ryan and Dereon Seabron are the Pelicans’ other two-way players, as teams are permitted to carry three this year.
