The Dallas Mavericks have signed small forward Alex Fudge to a two-way contract, the team announced in a press release.
Fudge, 20, began the season with a two-way deal with the Los Angeles Lakers, showcasing his skills in four games before the Lakers decided to part ways in early January. Subsequently, Fudge made a return to the G League’s South Bay Lakers, where compiled averages of 7.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks across 18 regular-season games.
A product of Florida and going undrafted last summer, Fudge signed on with the Lakers in the summer. He also played college ball at LSU before heading to the Gators.
The addition of Fudge gives the Mavericks a full 18-man roster.
Monday marked the final day for players to sign two-way deals. As of now, the Atlanta Hawks, Indiana Pacers and New York Knicks are the lone remaining teams with available roster spots.
