The New York Knicks have signed forward/center Mamadi Diakite to a 10-day contract, the team announced in a press release.
They have also signed shooting guard DaQuan Jeffries to a second 10-day deal.
Diakite, 27, has appeared in three games this season, all with the San Antonio Spurs, after signing a two-way deal in January. He was waived on March 2, making him an unrestricted free agent.
He appeared in a career-high 22 games with the Cleveland Cavaliers last season, averaging 2.6 points and 1.4 rebounds. He appeared in 14 games with the Milwaukee Bucks as a rookie and 13 with the Oklahoma City Thunder the year after that.
He has also spent time with the Westchester Knicks of the G League this season, averaging 8.8 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in his first 19 games.
Jeffries, 26, has already appeared in 10 games with the Knicks this season, signing his first 10-day deal on February 22. He has also spent time with the Sacramento Kings, Houston Rockets and Memphis Grizzlies since entering the NBA in 2019.
This marks the third time this season Jeffries will be a member of the Knicks, as he was signed to a standard non-guaranteed contract last March, then waived as part of a trade in late December.
