Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau indicated more changes could be on the way following Saturday’s home loss to the Nuggets. 
The Knicks trailed by as many as 30 points before falling by a 113-99 count.
As Fred Katz of The Athletic noted, Thibodeau may not necessarily mean changes to the lineup. It could be a change in schemes.
“Disappointed,’’ Thibodeau told reporters of the loss. “The way we’re playing at home, that’s the disappointing part. When you have an MVP-type player, we can’t start the game the way we did. We have to get our edge back defensively. We got into it together. We go to get out of it together.’’
The Knicks (11-12) have now lost three straight and are under .500 for the first time in nearly two years.

Power forward Julius Randle said it may be times for the Knicks to do some soul searching.
“We gotta look ourselves in the mirror and decide what we want the season to be,” he told reporters. “I know what I want it to be. I know what the guys want it to be. But we have to commit to it.
“I say it all year, I’ll continue to say it. We’re going to win games with our defense. That’s who we are. We’re not the superstars, three four superstars on the team like Brooklyn or all these other teams. We’re a team.”
“We’re in a funk right now. The biggest thing defensively is our communication isn’t great right now.’’
- Shooting guard RJ Barrett returned after missing the previous game vs. the Bulls with a non-COVID illness. Barrett may not be 100 percent but said he was feeling better than he did early in the week, when he threw up vs. the Nets. “I was good enough to play (vs. the Nuggets),” he said.
