The Knicks are receiving calls from opposing teams on the possible available of forward Kevin Knox, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Knox, 22, is 6-foot-7 and was the No. 9 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft. He clearly has not been a part of the Knicks’ plans since coach Tom Thibodeau was hired prior to the start of last season.
Knox has often made the most of his minutes though, scoring 18 points in Sunday’s game vs. the Bucks. Some scouts will tell you that while Knox is not a Thibodeau-type player, he could help out a team in terms of shooting and scoring.
Charania did not identify which teams may be calling about Knox — though he did report earlier that the Knicks are among the teams interested in 76ers guard/forward Ben Simmons.
