The Hawks are seeking a first-round draft pick in any potential trade that involves small forward Cam Reddish, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
While it’s not clear how serious talks centered on Reddish have become, his name has been on the rumor mill for some time. Charania did not specify which teams may have an interest in Reddish — though it’s clear if you don’t have a first-round pick, there’s no need to call.
Reddish, 22, is 6-foot-8 and is averaging 11.1 points and 2.7 rebounds this season, his third in the NBA after Atlanta selected him with the No. 10 overall draft pick in 2010.
The Hawks (13-13 entering Monday) are coming off a run to the Eastern Conference Finals, but have been seeking an upgrade after hovering around .500 for much of the first two months of the season.
