The Cavaliers are signing point guard Brandon Goodwin to a two-way contract and waiving center Tacko Fall, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Fall, 26, is 7-foot-5 and signed a two-way deal before the season, appearing in multiple games with the G League’s Cleveland Charge and 11 more with the Cavs.
Goodwin, 26, is 6-0 and had been signed to a 10-day deal, but the Cavs decided they’d like to see more of him. That’s especially the case given both Collin Sexton and Ricky Rubio are out for the season.
Goodwin had three appearances entering Sunday night, averaging a solid 7.3 points and 4.7 assists.
He spent the past two seasons with the Hawks, attended training camp with the Knicks and played 16 games with the Nuggets as a rookie. Goodwin has also played for the Westchester Knicks of the G League and once signed with the Raptors.
Goodwin is represented by agent Aaron Turner, who hails from the Cleveland suburb of Orange.
