Japanese guard Keisei Tominaga will be among those playing for the G League United vs. Serbian club Mega MIS in the G League Fall Invitational next month.
The United and Mega Mis will play two exhibition games Sept. 4-6 at the Kaiser Permanente Arena in Santa Cruz, California.
Tominaga is 6-foot-2 and went undrafted out of Nebraska in June. He is expected to sign a training camp contract with the Indiana Pacers. He did not play in the Las Vegas Summer League, opting instead for the Japan national team at the Paris Olympics.
Joining him with the G League United will be Stockton Kings forward Deonte Burton and guard Isaiah Wong, who played in one game with the Pacers last season for his lone NBA appearance. The rest of the roster will be revealed at a later date.
Tominaga averaged 15.1 points and 2.3 rebounds for the Cornhuskers in 2023-24, shooting 37.6% on 3-pointers as a fifth-year senior. He scored at least 20 points on eight occasions, including a season-high 31 points on Feb. 4, earning second-team All-Big Ten honors.
The United will then participate in the 2024 FIBA Intercontinental Cup, slated for September 12-15 in Singapore. Tominaga, Burton and Wong are expected to play there, too.
