Free agent point guard Pierre Jackson is leaving the South Bay Lakers of the G League to pursue opportunities in non-U.S. leagues, per Emiliano Carchia of Sportando.
Jackson, 30, is 5-foot-10 and has eight games of NBA experience, all coming with the Mavericks in 2016-17. He does, however, have extensive G League and international experience, appearing in three games and averaging 11.3 points with South Bay this season.
He has also spent time with the Texas Legends and Idaho Stampede of the G League.
Along with that, the well-traveled Jackson has played professionally in Croatia, Israel, China, Turkey and France.
