Free agent shooting guard Wayne Selden intends to sign with Turkish club Afyon Beledive, according to Afyon Haber, via Alex Kirschenbaum of Hoops Rumors.
Selden, 27, is 6-foot-5 and appeared in three games with the Knicks this season. Prior to that, he last played in the NBA with the Bulls in 2018-19, averaging a career-high 8.0 points in 43 games.
He has also spent time with the Grizzlies and Pelicans after going undrafted out of Kansas in 2016.
Selden has previously played in Israel and the G League. He was traded to the Bulls — along with MarShon Brooks and the Grizzlies’ 2019 and 2020 second-round picks — in exchange for Justin Holiday in January 2019.
“Selden inked a non-guaranteed camp deal with the Knicks ahead of training camp, and stuck on the roster through the start of the regular season,” Kirschenbaum wrote. “New York then waived Selden to complete another trade.”
