Jazz Expected To Sign G League Veteran

The Jazz are expected to sign forward Keshawn Justice to an Exhibit 10 contract for training camp, per Tony Jones of the Athletic.Keshawn Justice, NBA, Jazz

Justice, 24, is 6-foot-7 and spent last season with the Salt Lake City Stars of the G League, averaging 8.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in 31 games. He also shot 39% on 3-pointers, so it makes sense for Utah to take a longer look.

That said, Justice very well could end up back with the Stars to begin the season.

An Exhibit 10 contract is a non-guaranteed minimum-salary deal. It doesn’t count toward a team’s cap unless the player makes the final roster. It also can be converted to a two-way deal before the season begins or mean guaranteed money if a player is waived and then stays on the G League club for at least 60 days.

The Jazz have 20 players on the camp roster, and given the league limit is 21, another move won’t be necessary if they do indeed sign Justice — who went undrafted out of Santa Clara in 2023. He then joined Utah for summer league, signing an Exhibit 10 deal in October 2023 before being waived a week later.

Justice holds the Santa Clara school record with 144 games played (105 starts) and ranks third in all-time in made threes at 305.
