After returning from a 17-game absence Tuesday, Lakers star forward Anthony Davis is expected to play in Thursday’s road game vs. the 76ers.
LA’s official injury report lists Davis as “probable.”
Davis and the Lakers (24-24) evened their record with a 106-96 win over the shorthanded Nets on Tuesday. As our Alejandro Avila wrote, Davis put up a “modest stat line” in finishing with eight points, two rebounds and two assists — but made a major impact at the other end with a whopping four blocked shots.
“Tried to do it on the defensive end to help my team,” Davis told TWC SportsNet’s Mike Trudell. “Physically, I felt fine; the knee felt fine.”
The Lakers-Sixers game is scheduled to tip off at 7:30 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on TNT.
