The Pacers are seeking a “big” package in exchange for available power forward Domantas Sabonis ahead of Thursday’s trade deadline, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Sabonis, 25, is 6-foot-11 and is averaging 18.9 points and 12.1 rebounds in 48 games this season. He has been linked to the Kings (full post), Trail Blazers (full post) and Wizards (full post), along with several others, including the defending Western Conference champion Suns.
While Wojnarowski didn’t get into specifics, it is believed the Pacers are looking for a young player and first-round pick in exchange for Sabonis.
Indiana has already made its first major deal of the season, sending guard/forward Caris LeVert to the Cavaliers in exchange for guard Ricky Rubio‘s expiring contract and 2022 first-rounder, as well as two second-rounders.
Along with Sabonis, the Pacers are looking to move center Myles Turner, who has also been linked to the Kings and the Wizards, among others.
But Turner’s foot injury have “slowed” trade talks on that front, Wojnarowski reported.
