For the third straight season, the NBA is using the “Elam Ending” for the All-Star Game, meaning the game will end when a team hits a target score, as opposed to using a traditional game clock. The target score is determined by adding a fixed number to the leading team’s total after three quarters. Whichever team hits that score first wins the game, regardless of the amount of time it takes.
