The Raptors are re-signing Colin Castleton to a second 10-day contract, per Michael Scotto of HoopsHype. Castleton’s first 10-day deal expired overnight, paving the way for his return to the Raptors.
The 6-foot-11 big man has appeared in five games for Toronto, averaging 7.0 points, 8.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.0 block in 27.8 minutes per game.
Castleton, 24, spent his rookie season on a two-way contract with the Los Angeles Lakers before signing a similar deal with the Grizzlies. He was waived by Memphis in January.
Though his NBA opportunities have been limited, Castleton has found success in the G League since going undrafted out of Florida in 2023. He has also played for the Orlando Magic’s affiliate in Osceola.
Toronto has an open spot on its 15-man roster, meaning no corresponding move will be required to accommodate Castleton’s second 10-day deal. The contract is valued at $107,027, with an identical cap hit for the Raptors.
If finalized before Sunday’s game against Portland, Castleton will be eligible to play in five more games for the Raptors under this contract. The deal will expire on March 25, at which point the team must decide whether to retain him for the remainder of the season.
