The Pacers are signing guard Gabe York to a two-way contract, according to Adrian Wojknarowski of ESPN.
York, 28, is 6-foot-3 and has been playing for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, the Pacers’ G League affiliate. Fort Wayne selected York with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2021 G League Draft.
He has more or less bounced around professional basketball since going undrafted by the NBA out of Arizona in 2016. Along with the G League, he has spent time in Israel, Greece, France and Germany.
York signed a training camp deal with the Magic in September 2018, but was waived a few weeks later. He has been averaging 21.9 points, 4.7 rebounds and 4.1 assists in 44 games with the Mad Ants.
Indiana has made a flurry of roster moves in the season’s final week, also parting ways with guard Keifer Sykes and converting the contracts of guards Duane Washington Jr. and Terry Taylor.
