The Trail Blazers intend to sign forward/center Reggie Perry on a hardship contract for the regular-season finale, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Perry, 22, is 6-foot-8 and has appeared in eight games with the Blazers overall, including two from when he signed a hardship deal in late December. He also signed a 10-day deal with the Pacers in February and played in one game on that deal.
His latest deal expired Friday night, sending Perry into free agency.
With the Blazers, he averaged 8.8 points and 4.8 rebounds. He only briefly joined the others on our complete list of current free agents right here.
Perry has appeared in 29 games overall since 2020, including 26 with the Nets as a rookie. He was waived by the Raptors in training camp ahead of the season.
