The Cavaliers have brought back shooting guard RJ Nembhard on a two-way contract, announcing the move in a press release.
Nembhard was waived last week in order to give center Moses Brown a standard deal, a move that was confirmed by the team.
Nembhard has been with the team all season, signing a two-way contract in October. That contract was converted to a standard deal on March 31. He has appeared in 13 games as a rookie, averaging 1.2 points.
Nembhard, 23, is 6-foot-4 and went undrafted out of TCU. He appeared in 22 games with the G League’s Cleveland Charge, compiling averages of 24.1 points, 7.9 rebounds and 5.0 assists. He spent all four seasons at TCU, where he averaged 9.4 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 26 minutes per game.
