Kings Part Ways With Assistant GM, Media Relations Director

The Kings have made several moves already this week alone, including letting go assistant GM Ken Catanella, per Sean Cunningham of Sacramento’s ABC10.

Cantanella had been with the Kings for six seasons. His contract was up and the Kings decided not to renew the deal as GM Monte McNair restructures the front office, Cunningham reported.

Along with Cantanella, the Kings have decided to part ways with head athletic trainer Joe Resendez and media relations director Alex Sigua, per Cunningham.

This all happened earlier this week, when the Kings decided to not to retain interim man Alvin Gentry as coach. Gentry reportedly could join the front office, as we relayed earlier.
