It’s here. The Cavaliers season you’ve been waiting for.
OK, it’s not quite here. But really close. And this year, I fully intend to do more audio — just me, talking Cavs — as you will find in the clunky little old-school player below.
It will be quick, it (hopefully) will be captivating, it will be all Cavs. So give a listen below, and in the words of Koby Altman, let’s rock.

Enjoyed the audio comments. It’s my impression that your HUNCH about Mobley is right on target. I’m enjoying looking forward to the Garland & Allen possibilities for enhanced play, and also to see if Okoro has figured out the offensive side of his improvements for this season; particularly the work on his 3 point shot success. That would mean almost everything to this team.
Yes, I have now settled down that Mitchell’s addition does mean a lot, but while everyone thinks it’s a “no-brainer”,,,, I still think they overpaid a bit by one player or a pick or two especially at the expense of the destruction of the 3 position. That said, I DO hope it works. Getting the three balls to actually GO DOWN, no matter who makes them, will of course be key, along with improved defense seeing as Cavs have lost the three tower baseline D.
My main desire this season is to just see Mobley after a year under his belt, and an offseason to build on what he has done this 1st season. My book says he won rookie of the year & totally filled the court with excitement a plenty, with anticipation of much much more to come! I think we’re in for quite a WILD ride with possibilities galore.
Thanks for the Audio message.
You make some valid points, as always, I sometimes wonder myself if they’;ll miss that Triple Tower lineup. And Agbaji was expected to add outside shooting, Now who will do it? Like the trade, overall, but there looks to be some holes to fill — as you said. Either way, always appreciate you taking the time to comment, read, etc!
Sam, we’re all looking forward to the season. But I feel we’re still short, literally, at SF. What would be your opinion on signing Carmelo Anthony? He’s still a good 3 pt. shooter. I don’t see him starting, but could share a spot with Kevin Love. That would give the guards the option to drive, lob to a big, or dish. The opposition could pick their poison.
With Love and Rubio as veterans on the team, I don’t think the personalities would be a problem on this team.
I’ve actually thought Carmelo may not be a bad pickup, and for the exact reasons you mentioned! Wayne Ellington may be worth a shot, too. If not those guys, then at least SOMEONE who can stand on the perimeter and knock down some jumpers. Appreciate you taking the time to comment.
