Free agent center Ante Zizic has agreed to a two-year contract with Turkish power Anadolu Efes, per Bugra Uzar of Eurohoops.
Zizic, 25, is 6-foot-10 and has been playing for Israeli power Maccabi Tel Aviv since 2020. He played for the Cavaliers from 2017-20 after being part of the Kyrie Irving trade with the Celtics back in August 2017.
In three years with the Cavs, Zizic averaged 6.0 points and 3.9 rebounds. The Celtics drafted him with the No. 23 overall pick in 2016.
“The addition of Zizic will cover the gap on the roster of Efes that will be left from the departure of Filip Petrusev,” Uzar wrote. “The Turkish powerhouse is also expected to sign former Final Four MVP Will Clyburn and center Josh Nebo.”
