Anthony Davis is still trying to make sense of how things ended with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Specifically, how little warning he got.
“From the business standpoint I can’t be mad, but like why?” Davis said on Draymond Green‘s podcast, via HoopsHype “Nobody told me nothing. Nobody said a thing to me.”

That’s what bothered him. Davis said he wasn’t given any real heads-up before being dealt in the blockbuster move involving Luka Doncic.
Instead, the call came right before the deal became public.
“I think I deserve much more respect than that,” Davis said. “All the time I’ve been there… we won a championship… and I can’t get a phone call or a text?”
That part hasn’t sat well.
“And it never got to me or like, ‘Hey, this is what we’re thinking,’” he added. “So I think that’s the biggest thing that kind of messed with me this entire time.”
