Free agent center Bismack Biyombo is drawing interest from Spanish club Baskonia, per Borja Mallo of Diario Noticias de Álava, via EuroHoops.
Biyombo, 29, is 6-foot-9 and spent the past three seasons with the Hornets, averaging 5.0 points and 5.3 rebounds in 66 games in 2020-21. The Hornets opted not to bring him back at the end of the season and he has drawn minimal interest as an NBA free agent.
He has also spent time with the Magic and Raptors, and averaged a career-high 7.4 points two years ago.
As for Baskonia, “some changes are expected and while coach Dusko Ivanovic’s status is uncertain” the club is seeking reinforcements, EuroHoops relayed.
