The Trail Blazers and the Rose Quarter campus are removing all mask and vaccine mandates beginning Saturday, the team announced in a release.
Masks and proof of vaccination have been required of all fans since the start of the season. The Blazers host the Wizards on Saturday.
The announcement is in alignment with Oregon Gov. Kate Brown, who has removed mandates for all businesses.
“The Oregon Health Authority still recommends masking for people at higher risk from COVID-19, including unvaccinated people and immunocompromised people,” the release read. “Masks are encouraged while on the Rose Quarter campus and attending events.”
So while masks at games are encouraged, they will no longer be required.
