Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal will miss the next two games after suffering a sprained left wrist, the team announced.
Beal suffered the injury in Saturday’s loss to the Grizzlies. Missing the next two games means Beal will be out at Milwaukee (Tuesday) and at Philadelphia (Wednesday).
He will be re-evaluated after the next two games, the Wizards said.
Beal, 28, is 6-foot-4 and leads the Wizards at 23.2 points, and is also averaging 6.6 points and 4.7 rebounds. His scoring has dipped by eight points per game from last season.
Washington (23-26) has lost five straight and sits in 11th place in the Eastern Conference.
