Finally, Bradley Beal is back for the Phoenix Suns, per a team announcement.
That means Beal will join forces with Kevin Durant and Devin Booker, giving the Suns the Big Three for which they had planned.
So far, back issues have limited Beal to just six games in his first season in Phoenix. Durant and Booker have spent some time injured, too — and the Suns (15-15) have been very average because of it.
Injuries to standout players seem to be the theme for the early NBA season, and for teams such as the Suns, it’s caused cohesiveness issues and a failure to live up to expectations.
Can Beal change all that for Phoenix? Can he remain on the court?
They say the season truly starts after Christmas, so we’re about to find out. The Suns have six straight home games, beginning Friday night against Charlotte.
