Beverley, 35, is in his first season with the 76ers. He’s sure to add experience and toughness to the Bucks’ backcourt — just as he does wherever he goes.
Both Beverley and Payne are making the veteran’s minimum and possess expiring contracts.
Per Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, trading Beverley may mean the Sixers are confident about signing potential Charlotte Hornets buyout candidate Kyle Lowry for the backcourt.
