The Bucks are aiming to add veteran depth to the frontcourt and seeking “Jae Crowder types” of forwards, per Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports.
The Bucks have actually talked to the Suns about Crowder, who is sitting out and indeed available. At last check, the Bucks and Suns were seeking a third team to help facilitate a Crowder trade to Milwaukee, as we relayed here.
“Milwaukee is calling around looking for Jae Crowder types. And by that I mean veteran, defensive-minded wing forwards who make that type of salary, 10-11 million dollars,” Fischer said on his podcast, via HoopsHype.
Fischer did not reveal which other players, specifically, the Bucks may have on their radar — though they have been linked to Knicks forward Cam Reddish from time to time.

For the record, Suns owner Mat Ishbia is likely to take control of the team ahead of the Feb. 9 trade deadline and expected to be a “hands-on” owner who will be involved with roster decisions, per ESPN’s Adrian ojnarowski.
Various reports have suggested the Bucks are dangling shooting guard Grayson Allen as part of trade proposals.
Crowder, 32, has yet to play after he and the Suns agreed to search for a trade. He reportedly was unhappy with what his role was expected to be this season, leading to his trade request.
He appeared in 67 games last season (all starts), averaging 9.4 points on 40 percent shooting, to go with 5.3 rebounds and some strong perimeter defense.
He has also been linked to the Heat, Wizards and Knicks.
