The Bucks have registered interest in both Ja Morant and Zach LaVine, sources tell Jim Owczarski of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

The common thread is clear. Milwaukee continues to explore ways to add offensive punch and shot creation around Giannis Antetokounmpo as it looks to stabilize a season that has veered unevenly through the first half.

Morant, whose name has gained traction around the league after reports that Memphis is entertaining trade offers, would represent a high-upside swing.

The two-time All-Star is under contract through 2027-28, but his injury history, recent friction with the Grizzlies, and maximum-salary deal complicate the market. Milwaukee, like other teams, would need a clean salary path and a tolerance for risk.

LaVine presents a different profile. The Kings guard is viewed as a more straightforward scoring upgrade, though his long-term money and defensive limitations remain factors teams continue to weigh.

League sources have consistently suggested the Bucks are cautious about taking on contracts they believe limit future flexibility.
