The Bucks have signed and subsequently waived forward Alex Antetokounmpo, according to the NBA official transactions log, via Hoops Rumors.
Antetokounmpo, was recently acquired by the organization in a G League trade, and presumably is on his way to the Wisconsin Herd.
Antetokounmpo, of course, is the brother of Milwaukee star Giannis Antetokounmpo and forward Thanasis Antetokounmpo. The Herd are the Bucks’ G League affiliate.
Alex Antetokounmpo, 21, is 6-foot-8 and played high school ball in Milwaukee before spending one season playing professionally in Europe. He then went undrafted by the NBA and signed on with the G League.
To acquire Alex Antetokounmpo, the Herd sent the returning player rights of guard Jalen Lecque to Raptors 905. Wisconsin also received a second-round pick in the 2023 G League Draft as part of the deal.
The latest move follows one last week in which the Bucks also signed and waived guard Rob Edwards (full post).
