The Bucks plan to sign guard/forward Glenn Robinson III to an Exhibit 10 contract for the preseason, per Eric Nehm of The Athletic.
Robinson, 29, is 6-foot-6 and last appeared in the NBA in the 2020-21 season, when he played 23 games with the Kings and averaged 5.3 points and 2.0 rebounds. He went unsigned all of last year.
He has also spent time with the Timberwolves, 76ers, Pacers, Pistons and Warriors, appearing in 304 NBA games overall with a career average of 5.9 points and 37 percent shooting on 3-pointers.
Milwaukee currently has 15 players on guaranteed standard contracts, meaning Robinson is likely to be waived and join the Wisconsin Herd of the G League. The Exhibit 10 deal would make him eligible for a $75,000 bonus if he is indeed released and spends 60 days with the Herd.
Robinson is the son of former Bucks power forward Glenn Robinson, the No. 1 overall pick of the 1994 NBA Draft.
