The Bucks plan to sign guard Luca Vildoza to a two-year contract, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Vildoza, 26, is 6-foot-3 has yet to play in an NBA game after winning MVP of the Spanish league in 2020. He suffered a foot injury and underwent surgery, but reportedly has fully recovered.
Per Wowjnarowski, Vildoza should be good to go in time for the playoffs. “Vildoza’s agent, Alex Saratsis of Octagon Sports, and Bucks GM Jon Horst are expected to finalize terms on the deal in the coming days,” Wojnarowski wrote.
Vildoza initially signed with the Knicks, last May, but was waived prior to his surgery. He averaged a little more than 10 points last season with Baskonia of Spain.
For the Bucks, Vildoza adds some depth at both guard spots, especially after DeAndre’ Bembry went down with a season-ending knee injury.
