The Bucks are signing center Luke Kornet to a 10-day contract via the hardship exception, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Kornet, 26, is 7-foot-2 and coming off a 10-day deal with the Cavaliers. He appeared in two games with Cleveland and averaged 2.0 points.
Along with that, he played 18 games with the Celtics last season, averaging 4.4 points and 2.9 rebounds. He has also spent time with the Bulls and Knicks, appearing in 133 games overall since going undrafted in 2017.
As of this writing, the Bucks have two players in the health and safety protocol — Thanasis Antetokounmpo and Semi Ojeleye. The defending champs are facing a stretch of five games in 10 days, beginning Monday vs. the Pistons.
