The Bucks have waived rookie forward/center Drew Timme, shooting guard Omari Moore and point guard Jazian Gortman, trimming their roster from 21 to 18, the team announced in a press release.
Timme, 23, is 6-foot-10 and went undrafted after starring at Gonzaga. He then joined the Bucks for Summer League in July, signing an Exhibit 10 training camp deal on Oct. 2.
Moore, 23, is 6-6 and went undrafted out of San Jose State. He signed a two-year, two-way contract with Milwaukee in early July, making the decision to release him a bit of a surprise.
Gortman, 20, is 6-2 and played for the YNG Dreamers of Overtime Elite. He signed on with the Bucks in July and appeared in five Sumer League games.
All three players are likely headed to the Wisconsin Herd of the G League, where they will be eligible for a $75,000 bonus should they remain with the Bucks’ affiliate for 60 days.
The Bucks now have 15 players under guaranteed contract and one on a two-way deal. Center Marques Bolden is on a training camp contract.
