The Bucks have waived free agent center Ibou Badji, as relayed by JD Shaw of Hoops Rumors.
This comes after signing him earlier this week, a move likely made to acquire his G League rights.
Badji, 19, is 7-foot-1 and spent last season with Spanish club Forca Lleida. He was his current height by the age of 15 and at the time was considered one of the best prospects at the NBA Academy Africa in Thiès. He went undrafted in 2022.
Exhibit 10 contracts count toward a team’s offseason roster limit of 20, but not toward the regular roster unless the player receives a standard deal.
For now, the Bucks seemingly are set at the center position, with the likes of Brook Lopez and Serge Ibaka, but Badji could be a diamond-in-the-rough who Milwaukee could try to develop at the G-League level with the Wisconsin Herd.
